When I first joined Exotic Bird Hospital in 2011, I imagined I would be here for maybe two years — just a brief chapter in my professional journey. Fourteen years later, I find myself looking back on an extraordinary experience that became so much more than a job. It became a labor of love, a calling, and a community I have cherished deeply.
Throughout these years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and contributing to the incredible growth of our practice. We’ve faced challenges together, celebrated countless milestones, and built something truly special — a place where care, compassion, and excellence in avian and exotic medicine thrive.
Now, with a full heart and deep reflection, I’ve made the decision to step down from my current position. This is not a goodbye, but rather a passing of the baton. I believe that with fresh energy, new perspectives, and continued commitment, the practice will reach even greater heights. I have every confidence in the future and in the capable hands that will carry our mission forward.
I will remain on as a consultant during the transition, fully committed to supporting my successor and ensuring a smooth handover. I sincerely wish her — and everyone at the hospital — continued success, fulfillment, and growth.
