Inventory Protocol – What am I supposed to do?

Thank you all for your patience during this transition.

I have attached a photo example illustrating the new protocol for depleting inventory:

Any item taken or opened to restock from the pharmacy, Nurse Station 2, or storage must be entered on the Want List with the note “deplete” or “restock,” along with your initials and the date.
Be sure to include the quantity taken.
If only part of an item is used (e.g., a bag of green-top tubes is opened but not fully used), mark the bag or box as “OPEN” and note the full quantity in the Want List. In this way, whatever is taken from a previously opened bag or box won’t need to be depleted later.

In addition, we will continue using the Want List as usual.
Whenever you use or open the second-to-last of any item, or notice something we use regularly is running low, add it to the Want List with:

an estimated quantity needed,

the reason for the request (e.g., “running low” or “only one left unopened”), your initials, and

the date.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly.

For Everyone’s Info: This does not apply to food inventory items. We will still follow the current protocol for in house food items.
