Fairly common workstation issue that can often be resolved by any front desk personnel or technician. It usually means the workstation lost communication with the Cornerstone database/server, or a local cache or network interruption occurred.
Please do the following steps
On the workstation:
Clear the workstation temporary files
Corrupted temporary files can trigger -308 errors.
On the workstation:
- Press Windows + R or
- Type in your windows search box: %temp%
1. Delete everything in that folder.
2. Restart the computer.
Check workstation resources
Older computers crash more often with Cornerstone.
Please verify the recommended minimum: On your keyboard, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and select TASK MANAGER.
If Task Manager shows:
- CPU 100%
- RAM near full
The workstation may be underpowered.
