There are two new fans in Ward 3. Please use them behind the oxygen concentrators whenever the units are running on the shelves to help prevent the concentrators from overheating.
To ensure proper airflow and reduce the risk of damage or dangerous fumes:
- Place the oxygen concentrators as close to the front edge of the shelves as possible, and toward the outer edge of the shelves to allow maximum ventilation.
- Maintain space between the concentrators and the incubators so air can circulate properly.
- When running multiple concentrators at the same time, please use the fans on the 2nd (fast) setting to maximize cooling.
Proper airflow is essential to keep the units functioning safely and effectively.
