We have five units in the building, and you can change the filters in all of them using the same process. However, please note that Unit Handler #3 requires a different filter size: 20x20x1. The rest of the units use filters sized 20x22x1.
Instructions:
Turn off the AC unit before you begin changing the filter.
Locate the filter tray at the bottom of the unit.
Unscrew the two screws on each side of the tray and remove the old filter.
Make sure that the airflow arrow on your new filter is pointing up.
Write the date on the new filter.
Insert the new filter into the tray and securely close it, tightening the two screws.
Turn the unit back on. (Auto mode using Alexa app) Please remember that this process needs to be performed every three weeks in summer and every 4 weeks in winter to prevent any potential issues with the AC units.
